Low Residency Requirements

At Molloy College, we understand that you are a busy professional, so we have developed an Ed.D. program that maximizes flexibility for you. Your coursework will take place online, with an additional one-week residency requirement that takes place the summer prior to your first academic year. During this initial summer term, you will take six credits of core requirements in a blended five-week format that includes 15 hours of in-person instruction per course, 25 hours of online learning, and five hours of field work in your community. The coursework for our cohort-based program is part time and may be completed in three years, followed by a dissertation sequence.
